POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking experienced server programmers, who have experience working in on fast paced, F2P game, to come and join a talented and focused core technology team

Candidates should possess excellent C++ skills and the ability to design and implement practical solutions to challenging technical problems. Capable of working alone or in a team, and possessing strong attention to detail, the ideal candidate will be considered an authority when it comes to how to write top quality C++ code.

Some experience developing for mobile platforms is preferable but not essential.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Design and implementation of new technical features for use by the rest of the game team
  • Maintenance and support of existing technical features
  • Optimisation and general performance improvements
  • Integration/development of company-wide core libraries

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Expertise in using C++
  • Strong OO design background
  • Multi-threaded application development
  • Client/Server application development
  • Databases and database performance optimisation
  • Knowledge of the online games market
